So, random updates. We have a school now. Het Streek, another school in Ede, called and they have space for me and Julia. We are going there at 11 AM Monday to discuss course selection, again at 4 PM Monday for a meeting of all the new VWO students, and then school actually starts...I don't know. Sometime next week. The only catch is that Het Streek is a Christian school; this makes me a little squirmy but my host mom said she thinks it's Christian in name only--no special classes and whatnot. I certainly hope this is true.
STATISTICAL EVIDENCE that I suck at life:
Number of hours I slept on the plane...0.
Number of places available at the school Julia and I were supposed to attend...0.
Number of times I have accidentally poured burning water/tea on my left hand JUST TODAY...3.
Dude, what gives?
And finally, a Dutch word that I know some of my Plattsburgh acquaintances will appreciate: de kabouter=gnome. Ahahahaha. Ownage.
